Virtual Connect Forum: How Climate Will Impact Future Transportation Trends

With South Florida’s coastal location facing numerous threats from climate change, a Virtual Connect forum hosted by the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization will delve into how infrastructure changes to transportation can lessen the impact.

The virtual session at 2 p.m. on July 28 will feature a group of industry professionals exploring ways to meet the current and future challenges of extreme weather, sea-level rise and storm surge. The discussion will also explore how the Broward MPO incorporates resiliency into transportation decision-making impacted by climate change.
