Yext executive buys Pinecrest home

New Yorkers have made headlines for migrating to South Florida amidst the pandemic. Case in point: a record-breaking sale in Pinecrest. The home at 6035 SW 92nd St. was sold for $5.6 million in just six days, making it the most expensive resale of a home that’s over 10 years old sold in the village, which is home to Pinecrest Gardens.

Michael Martinez with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty represented the seller, Matthew Adler, a prominent real estate developer. The buyers are Marc and Kerrie Ferrentino who are relocating from New York. Marc is the chief strategy officer of tech company Yext, which is headquartered in New York and has offices in Miami and other major cities. They were represented by Blair Sonville with Lowell International Realty.

Ferrentino’s move follows that of Yext founder Howard Lerman, who bought a house in Miami Beach last year.

The home, known as Magnolia House, features seven bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms under 8,863 square feet of living space on a 50,529 square-foot lot. The master’s suite offers an oversized walk-in closet and balcony overlooking the pool. Spaces include a home gym, media room, office/library, and private guest house plus service quarters. Outdoors, the heated saltwater pool is complemented by a summer kitchen and gazebo. Two laundry rooms, a four-car garage and elevator shaft round out the amenities.
