Vince Marotta is a totally committed realtor who offers each and every client 150% effort. He has sold almost $100 million in properties in the first half of 2021, including 10 sales in eight different communities, with each sale price between $3 million and $12 million. Many of these sales set records in their communities. He is also very proud of the fact that he is the only realtor in the area who sold the highest priced condo in a given year in each of the ocean-front towns in the Northern Palm Beaches (Jupiter Island, Juno Beach, North Palm Beach, and Singer Island).

What challenges have you faced in your career, and how did you overcome them? “The Great Recession” of 2009 to 2012 was very difficult in the real estate business. Nobody wanted to grab the “falling knife” as prices kept dropping and buyers believed that tomorrow would be cheaper than today. I just put my head down and kept grinding. I knew I could make it as long as I worked as hard as possible and always gave my clients my all. I know those tough years prepared me for today. Those days keep me humble and grateful for all God has given me since those challenging days.
What has been the most monumental moment of your career thus far? I am honored to be the No. 1 producer in both 2019 and 2020 for the firm that does the most luxury business in our area. Illustrated Properties has many fine agents and I am truly blessed to work with all of them.
What inspired you to make Real Estate a career? I have always been fascinated by luxury homes. Ever since I was a child, I enjoyed looking at land, architecture, interior design, and so much more.
What was the most memorable sale or deal you’ve had in the past year? I had a deal for almost $15 million and I had both sides of the trade, so it was like a $30 million deal for me. The deal ultimately fell apart, but I know I did all I could for both parties, so I feel good about the fact I did everything possible and it just wasn’t meant to be. That’s just life in this world.
When in 2020 did you realize that something major was happening in South Florida Real Estate? I could tell by early summer of 2020 that people from across the country, and especially from the northeast, were going to be flocking to Florida.
Who was your most helpful mentor in the business? My father will always be my mentor and coach, not just in real estate but in life. He’s gone, yet he still lives in me and through me.
