2023 Human Resources Honoree: Angela Primiano

Angela Primiano is the Vice President, Human Resources for Memorial Healthcare System, where she has been a member of the HR team since 2013. She brings over 20 years of HR experience to her position, previously holding HR leadership positions in the healthcare, consumer goods, and international development industries. Primiano serves as an Adjunct Professor for Florida Atlantic University, where she teaches in the Executive Master’s Program. She was appointed to the Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR) in 2020 by Governor Ron DeSantis. Primiano was confirmed by the Florida Senate and is currently serving a four-year term. She was elected as Vice Chair of the Commission in October 2021. Primiano holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, an M.B.A., and a master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Maryland. She holds multiple certifications in HR and is also a certified mediator. She is a licensed pilot and certified SCUBA diver who enjoys traveling and seeking out new adventures with her family.
