PBA Welcomes Bipartisan Heavyweights

A VIP reception and packed speaker program brought former Secretaries of State and South Florida leaders together for the LeMieux Center series

Community leaders, elected officials, and business executives gathered at Palm Beach Atlantic University earlier this month for a VIP reception ahead of the LeMieux Center for Public Policy Speaker Series, featuring former U.S. Secretaries of State Mike Pompeo and John Kerry. Held at Morton’s The Steakhouse, the private event welcomed trustees, ambassadors, and invited guests before the evening program at the DeSantis Family Chapel, where a standing-room-only crowd attended a moderated discussion led by former U.S. Sen. George LeMieux. Following the reception, a standing-room-only crowd of approximately 300 students, government officials, university leaders and members of the public attended the evening program, which was open to the community. The event reflects the university’s continued effort to bring nationally recognized policymakers to engage with the Palm Beach community.
