Mili Peluso was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and in the early 90s, she acquired the family insurance business, becoming one of the youngest women business owners in the insurance industry in PR. She shifted careers from the insurance to the technology industry about 15 years ago. Holding positions with companies such as Microsoft and Laureate International Universities. She has been a key member of the Centuric team for over eight years, most recently as the COO. Using 30+ years of experience in the areas of entrepreneurship, leadership, business strategy, operations, and product and project management, she successfully leads the day-to-day operations of the business. She created the Summer Internship Program and revamped the BLAST Scholarship to provide real job experience and support undergraduate education for the next generation of young innovators. Peluso holds a BA in Communications and an MBA. She is a member of the Class VI Leadership Program “Women Leading Broward” and is the Secretary of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Women’s Council. She is a former board member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and a former GED Tutor for PACE Center for Girls Broward.
