Uni K Wax Launches New Membership Program

The franchise has numerous locations throughout South Florida.

Frank Ponce, Uni K Wax’s Executive Director of Operations and a dedicated franchisee, recently helped introduce a membership program set to transform hair removal and waxing offerings in South Florida. The new initiative promises to provide a convenient and affordable way for customers to take advantage of monthly services and for Uni K Wax franchise owners to stand out in the competitive beauty landscape.

Ponce originally conceived the membership model that Uni K Wax currently offers as a way to improve customer loyalty and provide consistent value to franchise owners. The idea was to offer a monthly fee for a service or multiple services that would cost the same amount as a single session of the most popular service. This way, both the customer and the franchisee would be protected. Customers can now sign up for a membership starting at $59 for a bikini and $69 for a commando in Florida and Texas and $69 for a bikini and $79 for a commando in New York and New Jersey. This pricing structure is equivalent to the average cost of a single service for nonmembers. Additionally, members can enjoy a 20% discount on additional hair removal services.

The membership program’s pilot phase, which included corporate and franchise committee studios, commenced months ago and has surpassed expectations. The initiative has achieved a retention rate close to 90% and has attracted over 2,100 total members across all of Florida. Members can visit any participating Uni K Wax location and receive the same membership benefits. Uni K Wax’s team intends to extend the program to all studios, including New York studios, by 2024. With the program’s early accomplishments and ambitious expansion plans, Ponce is confident that it will revolutionize the Uni K Wax experience for franchisees and guests alike.
