Broward Partnership’s recent Salute to Leadership Silver Soiree kickoff event at the Lauderdale Yacht Club in Fort Lauderdale served as an early celebration of its 25 years of providing comprehensive homeless services in Broward County. It was also a chance for the nonprofit to announce significant personnel changes with Frances M. Esposito, the Chief Executive Officer, transitioning to a new role as Chief Strategy Officer, effective March 31. Tom Campbell, who brings eight years of experience as the Chief Operating Officer at Broward Partnership, will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer.
“Both Ms. Esposito’s and Mr. Campbell’s extraordinary contributions have been invaluable to Broward Partnership, and we express our deepest gratitude for their unwavering and continued dedication,” Stephen Simmons says, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Broward Partnership. “We also warmly welcome the newly promoted leadership team who have worked tirelessly to reaffirm our steadfast commitment to Broward Partnership’s continued success.”
Esposito will be reporting directly to the Board of Directors. One of her key responsibilities will be to prioritize the development of low-income affordable housing, emphasizing her continued dedication to tackling homelessness and housing insecurity.
“As I embark on this new journey as Chief Strategy Officer, I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to continue serving Broward Partnership and advancing our mission of addressing homelessness and affordable housing,” Esposito says. “Together, with the support of our dedicated team and community partners, we will strive to create lasting solutions that empower individuals and families in need.”
Campbell holds an extensive background in guiding services for people experiencing homelessness. His collaborative efforts with government agencies and social service organizations have uniquely positioned him to lead the organization forward. Campbell’s constant dedication to Broward Partnership’s mission and comprehensive understanding of its operations make him an exceptional successor to Esposito.
“It is an honor to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer at Broward Partnership, an organization with a rich legacy of compassion and service,” Campbell says. “I am committed to building upon our achievements and working tirelessly to ensure that every person experiencing homelessness in Broward County has access to the resources and support they need to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.”
Additionally, Broward Partnership announced the promotion of key personnel within the organization:
- Emilia Hyppolite: Chief Human Resources Officer
- Ellianna Dorvil: Chief Program Officer
- Erika Laverde: Chief Administrative Officer
- Fred Mims: NHAC Administrator
- Kendra Williams: CHAC Administrator
Broward Partnership is set to host the Salute to Leadership Silver Soiree on Saturday, May 4, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to commemorate its 25th anniversary of service to the community. The event will provide a platform for key influencers and local philanthropists to come together and celebrate the organization’s important milestones.
The Salute to Leadership Silver Soiree will celebrate and acknowledge the collective efforts that have made Broward Partnership the largest comprehensive homeless services provider in Broward County. The event will include a cocktail reception, silent auction, raffle, dinner, and dancing. The highlight of the night will be the presentation of the 2024 James J. Blosser Community Trusteeship Award to Frances M. Esposito. Jeremiah Gutierrez, the President of United National Consumer Suppliers (UNCS), will chair the event.
The fundraiser will play a crucial role in advancing Broward Partnership’s mission. By generating significant resources, the event aims to support clients on their journey to exiting homelessness. All the proceeds generated from the event will be directed towards Broward Partnership’s programs and initiatives, allowing the organization to continue its efforts towards ending homelessness.
