Transworld Business Advisors and USA Pickleball teamed up to organize a complimentary pickleball clinic for students at Sunrise Middle School in Fort Lauderdale. The duo also generously donated the required equipment to enhance the accessibility of this popular sport on campus. Pickleball is played using a paddle and a plastic ball with holes on a court smaller than a tennis court. The sport’s popularity has been rapidly increasing because it is easy to learn, accessible for all ages, and offers a fun and engaging experience.
Transworld Business Advisors is an international group of business brokerage experts committed to assisting entrepreneurs in purchasing, selling, and expanding their businesses through professional advisory services. In collaboration with USA Pickleball, students were introduced to the sport and supplied with the essential equipment (paddles and balls) for playing pickleball in physical education classes or as part of extracurricular activities.
“This initiative is about more than just playing a sport; it’s about building a community, fostering teamwork, and encouraging a healthy, active lifestyle,” Andy Cagnetta says, CEO of Transworld Business Advisors. “We are committed to supporting programs that positively impact young people’s lives, and we believe pickleball can do just that.”
Before participating in friendly interactive matches, Sunrise Middle School students learned the fundamentals of the game from Cagnetta and Carmen Diaz Mure, USA Pickleball Ambassador for Broward County.
“Bringing communities together to foster the growth of pickleball and its positive benefits relating to physical and mental health is a mutual goal for USA Pickleball and Transworld Business Advisors,” Jose Moreno says, Chief Marketing Officer of USA Pickleball. “Through this event, seventh-grade students participated in a one-hour clinic to promote physical activity, learn pickleball fundamentals and have fun with their peers. We’re happy to engage more youth in the sport and equip them with resources to feel confident picking up a paddle and continuing play for years to come.
