Swire Properties Unveils 11 New Retailers Set to Open at Brickell City Centre

The openings will occur between now and 2025.

Brickell City Centre (BCC) is enhancing the city’s retail scene with the introduction of 11 new openings, totaling 65,800 square feet of leased space in its North Block expansion. Nearly fully leased, BCC stands out as one of Miami’s most desirable locations for both global and national top-tier brands, enriching its offerings with an array of esteemed fashion, beauty, and lifestyle retailers.

“Brickell City Centre has consistently led Brickell’s transformation, and these new additions continue the momentum of last year’s success,” said David Martin, Senior Vice President at Swire Properties, which developed the premier shopping, dining, and entertainment hub in Miami. “We’re not simply expanding retail; we’re shaping a vibrant destination where Miami gathers to experience the best in fashion, dining, and entertainment. Our thoughtfully curated tenant mix matches the age and taste of our fantastic customer demographic. We are confident these additions will attract ever more visitors while meeting the evolving needs and choices of the Brickell community – one of the most desirable in the country.”

After achieving record-breaking numbers, the center has seen the highest year-to-date foot traffic since its opening as of September 2024. It has now solidified its position as a vital community hub and a frontrunner in Miami’s retail landscape, continually improving the visitor experience.

Several of these brands have already launched at Brickell City Centre, with additional openings planned for 2024 and 2025, further enhancing its status as Miami’s premier retail hub. The tenants include:

  • H&M: The global fashion leader secured the final anchor space at BCC and officially opened its doors on Oct. 17.
  • Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer: The brand’s first South Florida location recently opened. It is recognized for its craft burgers and over-the-top milkshakes.
  • FP Movement: Chic activewear brand created by Free People.
  • 7 For All Mankind: The iconic denim brand which launched in September.
  • Anthropologie: Famed for its eclectic selection of fashion and home décor.
  • John Varvatos: Luxury menswear brand specializing in clothing, leather, shoes and accessories.
  • Lacoste: A transgenerational brand catering to men, women, and kids.
  • Marc Jacobs: Recently celebrating its 40th anniversary, New York-based Marc Jacobs continues to dominate the fashion industry with successful ready-to-wear, handbag, footwear, and fragrance collections.
  • Nespresso: The coffee brand is known for its rich flavors and varieties of blends worldwide.
  • Mango: Globally recognized fashion retailer from Barcelona, arriving in early 2025.
  • Aritzia: Known for its trendsetting in women’s fashion and activewear.

“We are thrilled to welcome these leading brands to Brickell City Centre,” added Martin. “Each new tenant shares our vision of creating a dynamic and engaging retail experience. These openings reflect Swire’s continued success in responding to the evolving needs of our community, refreshing the retail mix, and adapting to market trends. It’s all part of our long-term strategy to ensure BCC remains a vibrant destination, and we’re excited for what lies ahead, especially as we approach 2025 with even more development plans on the horizon.”

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico. His other clients have included Four Seasons, Acqualina Resort & Residences, Yahoo!, American Airlines, Wynn, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran. As an adjunct assistant professor, Limsky has taught journalism, film and creative writing at the City University of New York, Pace University, American University and other colleges.
