hot spots: Chamber Letter

As one of the largest and most influential Chambers in South Florida, the Boca Chamber is always moving forward to support our mission to: Promote and Sustain Economic Prosperity in Boca Raton and South Palm Beach County. We strongly embrace our role as the organization that provides businesses with the best environment in which to succeed and grow. As we always say, a strong Chamber means a strong business community!

Boca Raton is host to many premier events that include the Allianz Golf Tournament, Festival of the Arts, Boca Bacchanal and the Boca Raton Bowl. These events enrich our area, elevate our national recognition, and provide positive economic impact on our business community. In addition to giving a boost to our economy, these are landmark occasions to showcase Boca Raton.

Bloomberg Businessweek reports that Boca Raton is No. 2 in the nation’s top 10 places to start a new company. Entrepreneurs agree, as Boca Raton cultivated more than 2,200 new businesses within the past year. Boca is also a great place to relocate your business because it offers the perfect conditions; a pro-business environment, low tax rates, a great quality of life, A-rated public schools and premier private schools. In addition, Boca Raton is home to two universities and a state college, earning the title of “college town.”

Preserving Boca Raton’s profile as a premier location for business creation, expansion and relocation, as well as tourism, is a collaborative effort between the Boca Chamber, the city of Boca Raton and key stakeholder organizations such as the county-wide economic development and tourism agencies. Together, we work to maintain a strong business climate.

Moving forward,

Troy M. McLellan, CCE, FCCP
