NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises has opened its new $250 million global headquarters at the Beacon Lakes Industrial Park in west Miami-Dade County. The 500,000-square-foot facility on 21 acres can house 1,500 employees.
The center will produce more than 3,000 hours of original content a year with 15 studios. The building includes augmented-reality sets and a state-of-the-art news operation.
It has an open design to foster creative energy and cross-business collaboration. An 8,600-square-foot atrium rises three stories.
