Pipeline Workspaces offers office space in promotion

With Miami solidifying itself as a hotspot for up and coming companies, a coworking space is offering a deal that welcomes business owners and entrepreneurs.

Pipeline Workspaces is launching its Welcome to Florida, Doors Wide Open promotion, which offers two months of free flexible office to organizations and individuals that are considering relocating or expanding their businesses to the region. The shared workspace concept caters to a diverse community of entrepreneurs, start-ups, corporate teams and international business executives; members range from local innovators and small start-ups to law firms, construction companies and large companies such as Uber, Google and Postmates.

The promotion aims to help companies decide if Florida is right for their business and facilitate the process of moving their operations. Pipeline notes that the complimentary two-month membership allows companies to have one less expense to worry about while making a decision and provides an opportunity to grow their business to make a more informed decision on where to live and work permanently.

“In the last several months, Florida has been receiving about 1,000 new residents per day, and most of those are moving to Miami, Orlando and Tampa—all cities where we have one or more Pipeline locations. In addition to offering our members a safe and welcoming environment that fosters professionalism and creativity, Pipeline also offers a sense of community, and this is something that new-to-market entrepreneurs and business owners want in a new city,” said Philippe Houdard, co-founder of Pipeline Workspaces. “Our hope is that by providing these organizations with a smooth transition, they can settle into their new community with absolutely minimal disruption to their business operations.”

Business must meet the following requirements to qualify:

  • Proof the business is currently registered or was previously registered outside of Florida
  • Five employees or fewer working at Pipeline
  • A brief description of the company and why it should be considered for the promotion

Members who qualify are not required to extend their membership for any period of time in areas such as Brickell, Coral Gables, Doral and Orlando. Each membership is bespoke and dependent on the wants and needs of each business. Amenities include private offices, dedicated desks, flexible space, and virtual offices as well as a café, large event space, lounge, technology-enhanced conference rooms and more. BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico. His other clients have included Four Seasons, Acqualina Resort & Residences, Yahoo!, American Airlines, Wynn, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran. As an adjunct assistant professor, Limsky has taught journalism, film and creative writing at the City University of New York, Pace University, American University and other colleges.
