Today’s Number: 185%

To Delray Beach-based CarLife founder Matt Laux, sourcing gorgeous auto photography and videography should be as easy as booking an Uber ride, and now it is. Dealers can forget about the hassle of booking photographers or pouring over stock photography when they need images for social media, websites and email/print campaigns. Brands such as Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren and Lexus have featured CarLife’s original photography, expertly shot from both the showroom floor and lifestyle locations—and Laux’s clients have seen online engagement rise more than 185 percent. Once the content is delivered, the dealership owns the shoot results—so there are never any hassles over rights issues.

“It’s true that we think of ourselves as Uber for content,” Laux says. “What we do for dealers is deliver photo and video on demand through a simple subscription service. Whether a dealer requires weekly, biweekly or monthly shoots, we provide it. Dealerships simply sign up for an easy, affordable month-to-month subscription with no long-term commitment.”
