“The practice of law has provided me the opportunity to help individuals seek justice, often against long odds. When I first decided to become a lawyer, I did not understand the awesome responsibility attached to this profession. We are trusted to ensure that people are vigorously represented when their liberty or financial survival is at risk. Often, we are those individuals’ only voice against a system that may seem too powerful or too complex to navigate. Throughout my career I have strived to give my clients the best representation possible while adhering to the ethical guidelines of our profession. It is incredibly satisfying to know that we as lawyers can make huge differences in peoples’ lives. Being a lawyer is both exhilarating and humbling.”
