Shoma Village in Hialeah is welcoming new residents to the mixed-use, multifamily complex. The two-tower, 304-unit multifamily rental community is leased by KW Property Management & Consulting and managed by Shoma MGMT.
Amid South Florida’s record-breaking real estate market, Shoma Village is the latest example of a growing trend of new apartment buildings that have opened with over half of its units rented. In recent years, the Shoma Village project was one of the first new Class A mixed-use housing and retail developments to break ground in the community. In addition to apartments, it will deliver an upscale Shoma Bazaar food hall, hair salon and store.
“Hialeah has always been a desirable location full of possibilities. That was true when we built Shoma Homes at Country Club of Miami here 20 years ago, and it’s still true today,” Masoud Shojaee says, CEO and Chairman of the Board at Shoma Group. “The overwhelming response we’ve seen, with the first tower becoming fully leased before future tenants could even tour the finished product, shows the unprecedented demand for brand new, Class A housing in this area with a large list of amenities, a private parking garage, and a Shoma Bazaar with retail space on site. People are ready for a new standard of living in Hialeah.”
Shoma Village offers living spaces designed by architecture and design firm MSA Architects. Floorplans at Shoma Village range from studios measuring about 640 square feet to three-bedroom units totaling approximately 1,370 square feet. Unit features include chic barn doors, spacious walk-in and linen closets, and wood-style flooring. They also have private balconies, energy-efficient hurricane-impact windows, Honeywell PRO programmable thermostats and Whirlpool front-load washers. Kitchens and bathrooms feature quartz and Marble-Lite countertops, designer vanities, a rain showerhead, and an oversized soaking bathtub. Tech-savvy features include fingerprint readers, keyless entry, and ButterflyMX video intercoms, allowing residents to quickly and securely let visitors from their smartphones. Amenities include a fully equipped fitness center with yoga, spinning, an interactive mirror, a private conference room, a two-story clubroom with extra large LED TVs, kitchens and a pool table. Outdoor amenities include a large pool with a gazebo and courtyard, a playground, a grilling area, and a dog park. Pet owners will benefit from an on-site Evolution Pet Spa. The apartments will be anchored by a 22,000-square-foot Shoma Bazaar food hall and 12,000 square feet of on-site retail shops.
“We could not be happier with the amazing reception that Shoma Village has seen and we look forward to continuing that momentum as we lease the second tower,” Stephanie Shojaee says, president of Shoma Group, who has 33 years of experience in real estate and developed more than 10,000 residences and completed over $5 billion in real estate transactions. “We have put our heart and soul into carefully selecting every color, finish, and feature to make Shoma Village an exemplary and enjoyable live-work-play community for Hialeah. I am very excited to introduce it to the community and welcome people into their new, luxurious homes.”
