Esteemed Chefs Eric Baker and David Bouhadana, the masterminds behind Sushi by Bou and Sunset Sushi, recently introduced AlleyCat in Boca Raton. This new dining spot is dedicated to Japanese izakaya, the art of sushi, omakase, Sakaduri, and a new catering concept called “Homakase”. The collaboration of these two innovative chefs at AlleyCat showcases their creativity and expertise in Japanese culinary traditions.
Baker, renowned for his mastery of izakaya-style dining combined with a French culinary background, brings years of experience creating vibrant, flavorful dishes that capture the essence of Japanese comfort food with a unique twist. Chef Bouhadana is famous for his meticulous and dedicated approach to omakase and sushi. He has garnered a loyal following due to his commitment to using the finest ingredients and his popular “Tuna Tuesdays” events, which feature high-energy nights with a live DJ playing Studio 54-themed disco beats. These events attract many guests eager to witness the “art of Sakaduri,” which involves the deconstruction of a 200+ pound tuna in front of an audience.
“We are thrilled to introduce the new AlleyCat to East Boca Raton,” says Baker. “It represents our shared passion for authenticity and innovation in Japanese cuisine.”
