Amrit Ocean Resort in Palm Beach County Reveals the Largest Spa in Florida

The hotel held its grand opening in May.

Amrit Ocean Resort, South Florida’s latest luxury beachfront wellness destination, recently unveiled the launch of Amrit Wellness & Spa, the most extensive spa in Florida. Situated on over 300 feet of private beach on Palm Beach County’s Singer Island, this four-story, 103,000-square-foot haven of health, wellness and relaxation offers a transformative retreat that harmonizes Eastern principles with Western luxury, providing exceptional wellness services and therapies.

Amrit, derived from the Sanskrit word for “elixir of life,” is built on the principle that genuine well-being and longevity stem from the harmonious integration of five pillars of wellness: mindfulness, nutrition, fitness, relaxation, and sleep. These fundamental principles are infused into every facet of the establishment, from its 155 wellness-inspired guest rooms and five dining concepts to over 10,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces, culminating in the centerpiece: Amrit Wellness & Spa.

“Amrit is the only place in South Florida where the five pillars of wellness culminate into one transformative center, a true sanctuary where guests can discover inner peace and be guided toward a higher sense of well-being,” Akram Alkawasmeh says, Executive Director of wellness and spa at Amrit Ocean Resort. “Whether your path to improved wellness involves better nutrition, a new fitness regimen or learning how to meditate, we offer therapies and experiences rooted in ancient, proven techniques designed to nurture the mind, body and spirit.”

Amrit Wellness & Spa is different from your typical hotel spa. It goes beyond traditional spa treatments to provide fully immersive and exclusive experiences to balance and enhance overall wellness. Some of the highlights include Aayush, Florida’s first indoor-outdoor hydrothermal water therapy circuit; the Personal Wellness Support System (PWSS), a proprietary web-based platform designed to customize guests’ wellness journeys before, during, and after their stay; and one of the few luxury hammams in South Florida.

Amrit has also partnered with board-certified physicians and medical practitioners to offer integrated health assessments and wellness services, such as Hair Health Assessments in collaboration with board-certified hair restoration physician and trichologist Dr. Alan J. Bauman and Infusion Therapy in partnership with functional sports medicine doctor Ara Suppiah, who specializes in performance and recovery.

“At Amrit Ocean Resort, we believe that caring for the mind, body and spirit is the ultimate luxury,” Reggie Cooper says, General Manager of Amrit Ocean Resort. “After years of thoughtful conceptualization, research and collaboration with the world’s leading experts in health and wellness, we are proud to be positioned among the world’s premier health and wellness destinations, offering a personalized experience for guests and visitors alike.”

Amrit Wellness & Spa combines European, Chinese and Indian wellness practices. It features 25 treatment rooms, including 12 in-room showers, two deluxe couples suites with private steam showers and ocean views, and a dedicated Thai massage room. Every treatment room has Lemi professional massage tables to ensure the utmost comfort.

Amrit Wellness & Spa’s centerpiece is the Aayush Hydrothermal Experience, an innovative facility that enhances general well-being and longevity through a guided sequence of immersive hydrothermal treatments. It is a one-of-a-kind in Florida, spanning 17,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor space, where Aayush presents unparalleled rituals in heat therapy, cryotherapy, halotherapy, and hydrotherapy across coed and gender-specific areas.
