Beachside Elegance and Upscale Amenities Make the Loews Miami Beach Hotel a True Gem

Each of the hotel’s 790 guestrooms ensure a comfortable stay.

There’s nothing better than finding yourself in an oasis where full-on relaxation is a goal that can be easily achieved. At times, it’s hard to find the perfect place to escape to in an area full of buzzing nightlife and the vibrant sounds of an oceanside city. There’s a hotel in Miami Beach that offers this type of oasis, a perfect blend of fun and amenities that will pamper and indulge visitors. And that’s the Loews Miami Beach Hotel.

The hotel feels more like a small city on its own, one where the drinks flow and the food is plentiful and well-prepared at its upscale restaurants. Also, the resort’s offerings make it simple for families, as well as those looking for a celebration or time away with friends, to plan for a full, fun and relaxing day at a place where service is of utmost importance.

When I stepped into the hotel’s lobby for the first time during my visit, I was impressed with the hotel’s expansive and elegant lobby. I am a believer that a hotel’s lobby is the first thing a guest sees, a first impression, and it can set the tone for a whole stay.

For us, it was truly love at first sight, and we felt like we were stepping into a type of high-end and luxurious building that promised us a great staycation. And our first impression was not wrong. This was the type of stay that one will always remember well after checkout.

Now, let’s discuss the impressive rooms. The hotel’s rooms are all a laid-back haven, ones that are beautifully decorated and showcase inviting art on the walls accompanied by plush beds. These are the type of accommodations that will make sleeping an easy goal to reach, as you snuggle inside the soft sheets and quickly exit to dreamland.

Every single one of the hotel’s 790 guestrooms shows that the Loews Miami Beach Hotel doesn’t skimp when it comes to making your stay comfortable.

All the hotel’s guestrooms and suites were designed to create the allure of an oceanside hideaway, and you will feel like you are inside a tropical paradise perfectly adjacent to the bright sun, sand, and ocean fun that Miami Beach is well-known for.

The Loews Miami Beach Hotel also offers visitors the option of a boutique stay, thanks to its rooms inside their historic Art Deco St. Moritz building, a historic building where the rooms boast wall-length pieces of art and plush furnishings. This proves that Loews knows very well that those who visit are seeking an impeccable stay catered to their individual tastes. And the Loews Miami Beach delivers.

For my husband and I, our staycation was one where I felt like a true Queen. I gasped as I stepped into a suite on the modern hotel’s 16th floor and was enveloped by the oceanfront views and colorful living room with furniture that perfectly represented the colors that accompany a tropical paradise.

The upscale and elegant room has a living room with a television set, plus a couch and armchairs, a bedroom with a television of its own, and a balcony with chairs where guests can relax and immerse themselves in the peace that comes with the sounds of the ocean. I highly recommend watching the sunset from this balcony with a glass of your favorite spirit or wine because this is an unforgettable view that you would hate to miss.

As for dining, we had the chance to enjoy dinner and cocktails at the lobby’s inviting restaurant and bar, Bar Collins. When I say that you will be taken care of and treated royally while sipping on a signature cocktail at the bustling bar or while sitting in the airy dining room, I mean it. This is an experience that every guest must have, one where the selection plates are plentiful and fit every desire.

At the Bar Collins bar, drinks are just not drinks. The masterful mixologists will make you feel like you are right a home as they shake, stir and pour drinks featuring a Miami flair and classic cocktails with a twist that will tempt those looking for the perfect sip. Their Aperol Spritz is refreshing, their take on their old-fashioned is magical, and their martini selection is outstanding.

Don’t be afraid to ask for something unique as well while you’re at the bar. The mixologists know exactly what to do is once you mention your favorite spirit. For me, it’s mezcal and rum, as well as champagne and prosecco. I am not a fan of anything that’s too sweet. They nailed it when it came to my cocktail selections, and I left the bar smiling and content.

When it comes to the restaurant at Bar Collins, you’re also in for a treat. It offers perfectly prepped steaks, fresh seafood, inspired pastas and original pizzas. The menu is perfect for those who wish to enjoy classy date night, yet also perfect to bring your family if you are looking to treat them to an elegant experience.

For example, I am obsessed with sushi, and the knowledgeable server recommended and offered me the perfect ones to enjoy. The sushi was fresh, and the spicy tuna-based one (I’m a HUGE fan of spicy tuna rolls) was the perfect blend of spice and balance. Then, there’s the pasta my husband enjoyed, a rich and meaty one that was filling and extremely delicious. If you are looking for something for everyone, this is the best spot for dinner.

How about spending the day on a daybed by the pool and adjacent to the beach? We recommend it! You can reserve a day bed at the hotel’s pool area, they are in a relaxing and serene environment where you can hop right into the action of the pool as you wish or lounge all day sipping on frozen and tropical cocktails or your favorite craft beers and wines. The SOAK Cabanas & Daybeds @ Loews Miami Beach are the perfect way to spend a day and afternoon, as fun music surrounds the pool area. You will not only relax under the sun, but it is a great way to bond with your group, partner, or friend as you chat under the sunshine, sip drinks and indulge in appetizers such as their delectable ceviche.

Some of the other hotel amenities are out of this world and perfect for busy visitors. There’s an elegant boutique and gift shop featuring everything from swimsuits, jewelry and Miami-themed gifts. Then there’s the legendary Italian restaurant, Rao’s, the hotel’s Sea Spa, where visitors can enjoy hair, makeup, and body services, as well as a Kids Club for the younger set to have some fun and a state-of-the-art fitness center where visitors can take a break to work out and let out some steam.

Lastly, are you traveling with a pet? The hotel is pet-friendly, so make sure to ask for more information regarding this and the hotel’s monthly and daily offerings that at times are added on to their daily experiences.

A hotel with so much to say, explore and describe, this is a highly recommended gem in the Miami Beach area, one that is as unforgettable as it is magical.
