Discovery Land Company Appoints Alicia Goldstein President, Eastern United States

Discovery Land Company (“Discovery”), the developer and operator of private residential club communities announced the appointment of Alicia Goldstein as president, Eastern United States. In this newly created role, Goldstein will oversee Discovery’s growing Eastern U.S. and Caribbean portfolio and establish the company’s first corporate presence on the East Coast.

She understands both the real estate and the experience that ultimately create enduring value for our members and their families, and I am excited to have her join our leadership team as we continue to grow Discovery.”

“Goldstein brings more than 25 years of experience across luxury residential and mixed-use real estate, hospitality, development, marketing, and sales. She has held senior leadership roles at Related Companies and Access Industries/Faena Group and is the founder of Chrysos Partners, a development and investment advisory firm through which she has advised developers, institutional investors and property owners, including Third Point, Mack Real Estate Group, Artemis Real Estate Partners and The Farrell Companies. Over the course of her career, Goldstein has been involved in the positioning, development, marketing and commercialization of more than $30 billion of complex residential and mixed-use projects globally.

Most recently, Goldstein led the repositioning of Discovery’s 2,400-acre Playa Grande Golf & Ocean Club and Amanera resort in the Dominican Republic on behalf of Third Point, the investment firm founded by Dan Loeb. She will continue to oversee Playa Grande as part of her new responsibilities at Discovery.

Goldstein’s portfolio will include Silo Ridge Field Club in New York’s Hudson Valley; The Hills and Dune Deck on Long Island’s East End; Moncayo in Puerto Rico; Atlantic Fields in Hobe Sound, Florida, and Playa Grande in the Dominican Republic. Among those projects, she will also oversee Discovery’s high-rise condominium and private club developments in Jupiter, Miami, and West Palm Beach, Florida.
