DUA Miami, Autograph Collection Opens

The boutique lifestyle hotel offers guests relaxation and social engagements.

Set in the vibrant Brickell district, DUA Miami, Autograph Collection provides luxurious accommodations and facilities that combine personal satisfaction with social interaction. In Albanian, the name “DUA” translates to “Love and Desire,” embodying the hotel’s commitment to personal indulgence and genuine connections.

DUA Miami boasts 124 chic rooms and suites, all with private balconies that offer stunning panoramic views. Guests can relax at the in-house DUA Spa or savor delectable cuisine at AHU|MAR, the wood-fired seafood restaurant known for its innovative dishes created by Chef Victor Rosado. One of DUA’s main attractions is the large rooftop pool, providing a perfect spot for unwinding with Miami’s skyline as a backdrop. The hotel offers 58,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.

“As we debut DUA Miami, we look forward to becoming not just a place to stay but a beacon of this dynamic neighborhood,” says Leslie Weil, DUA Miami’s General Manager. “From a bespoke and contemporary restaurant, community-centric events, exceptional amenities, and central location, DUA Miami is set to be a place where every visit promises unforgettable experiences.”

DUA Miami provides easy access to attractions like Brickell City Centre, Perez Art Museum Miami, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and some of the city’s most popular new restaurants and hotspots. Its signature restaurant, AHU|MAR, delivers an unforgettable dining experience with a menu crafted by Chef Rosado that showcases the natural flavors and freshness of the sea, elevated by the richness and smokiness of the open fire grills and wood-fired ovens. Notable dishes include grilled octopus, whole branzino, spiced duck, and wood-fired pizzas.

The DUA Lounge offers evening entertainment from Thursday to Saturday at 8 p.m., with guest DJs starting at 10 p.m. Guests and locals can also participate in weekly poolside activities, including Saturday puppy yoga, sound bath meditations, and weekend DJ sessions.

DUA Miami, a recent addition to Autograph Collection’s extensive portfolio, will be part of Marriott Bonvoy, the acclaimed travel program offered by Marriott International. This membership allows guests to accumulate and utilize points for their stay at DUA Miami and various other hotels and resorts within Marriott Bonvoy’s diverse array of brands.

Drew Limsky

Drew Limsky

Editor-in-Chief

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico. His other clients have included Four Seasons, Acqualina Resort & Residences, Yahoo!, American Airlines, Wynn, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran. As an adjunct assistant professor, Limsky has taught journalism, film and creative writing at the City University of New York, Pace University, American University and other colleges.
