From startups and young entrepreneurs, to executives who need satellite offices, an array of office suite centers and shared workspaces are filling the gap.
Executive office suite centers offer plans such as virtual office space, daily rental plans and monthly flexible rentals of spaces as small as a desk or as large as an office suite. Most locations offer staffed common reception areas, open work spaces, kitchens, parking, high-speed internet access and other administrative services.
In the case of startups, where capital is a constant factor, shared workspaces are a cost-effective way for entrepreneurs to have an office with amenities that would not be available to them if they leased traditional offices.
Executives of long-standing businesses often find it difficult to schedule meetings with clients throughout the tri-county area. Executive suites with conference rooms let these executives set office hours that are geographically convenient for clients.
These are just some of the factors that have made this market segment so popular for those who made our list, which features some of the leading executive office suite centers and shared workspace companies in our market. SFBW surveyed and researched to find workspaces that offer the most in terms of rentable square feet. Of those who responded to the survey question for building type, 82.9 percent indicated their workspaces are in a Class-A building and 9.8 percent indicated Class-B. Some, 7.3 percent, did not answer that question.
WeWork, Quest Workspaces, TDL Centers and Office Edge landed multiple locations on the list. These companies offer suites in all three counties.
