Fort Lauderdale Beach Gears Up for Seaglass Rosé Experience in January

Tickets are available for the fourth annual immersive experience supporting breast cancer research.

The annual Seaglass | A Fort Lauderdale Rosé Experience is set to make its highly anticipated return to Fort Lauderdale Beach from Jan. 26 to Jan. 28, 2024. The event is a three-day immersive experience that showcases over 30 rosé varietals from some of the world’s finest wine regions. Attendees can look forward to a grand showcase of wine, spirits, craft beer, food and chef appearances, all paired with live beats and special musical performances, all set against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. Seaglass aims to support cancer research and treatments across South Florida, with the proceeds from the weekend event going towards the Pink Angels Memorial Foundation.

Along with the charitable aspect, all organizers and sponsors involved in Seaglasss are committed to ocean conservation and environmental cleanups. The groups use sustainable products to reduce the impact on the beach environment, an essential consideration for Steve Hudson, the Chairman and CEO of Hudson Capital Group, a new partner and developer of the Seaglass Experience.

“Fort Lauderdale Beach has always been a special place for me, and the Seaglass team recognizes the importance of preserving its beauty for years to come,” says Hudson. “As a conservationist, I’m proud to be part of an eco-conscious event.”

Tickets for the upcoming event are currently available for purchase. Prices start at $150 for general admission, including standard access and all-inclusive food and beverages. VIP admission costs $200 and provides early access, a designated VIP area with a bar, and exclusive bites and sips. For those looking for an elevated experience, a private cabana is available for $5,500, which includes private lounge seating, 10 VIP early access tickets, full access to the VIP area, and sponsored bottle service. The event will take place on Friday, Jan. 26 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. (6 p.m. for VIP ticket holders), Saturday, Jan. 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (5 p.m. for VIP ticket holders), and Sunday, Jan. 28 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (1 p.m. for VIP ticket holders).

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico. His other clients have included Four Seasons, Acqualina Resort & Residences, Yahoo!, American Airlines, Wynn, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran. As an adjunct assistant professor, Limsky has taught journalism, film and creative writing at the City University of New York, Pace University, American University and other colleges.
