Gale Miami Hotel & Residences Promises Luxury and a Top Location for Visitors

The hotel’s pool features a relaxing rooftop setting.

Downtown Miami is always growing and constantly delivering something new to those who visit. It’s a place as fast-paced as it is one where one can decide to slow down, take a stroll and to simply enjoy what’s around the area. It simply is a place where all types of personalities collide, the adventurous find a home and those who visit just might seek a little fun. And there’s always something new, making a visit there one where you can discover new changes at all times.

And while most of the additions to this buzzing area are ones that are worth a visit, such as top-notch restaurants and places of pure entertainment, there’s nothing more exciting than the promise of a new hotel or luxurious building.

The Gale Miami Hotel & Residences is this type of property, one that not only offers about 100 luxurious hotel rooms, but also has condos for those who wish to find a home at the gorgeous and impressive building.

I had the blessing to stay at the brand-new Gale Miami Hotel & Residences with a close friend, to take a sneak peek of what’s to come during this soft opening. We were impressed with the hotel’s architecture, knowledgeable staff and the tastefully decorated lobby which makes you feel cozy thanks to the soft brown, green and gold color selection for its décor and seating.

The Gale Miami Hotel & Residences exudes pure elegance. As soon as you get past that lobby, you’ll be eager to explore the rooms.

I was lucky to have been given a room on the hotel’s 12th floor, one with a wraparound balcony with outside seating, perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset, reading a book, or indulging in a beverage of choice. A floor that high gives way to a cooling breeze, and it’s the perfect way to take some time for yourself.

Not only was the room’s balcony impressive, but everything else knocked all high expectations out of the park. And proved that one can have those expectations before their visit and won’t be disappointed.

Our room was a suite, an apartment-style one that offered two bedrooms, one with one King bed and the other one with two plush and comfortable beds. The room offered a bathroom that connects both rooms, a full kitchen, living room space, television sets in each room and living space, as well as a washer and dryer. There’s everything that you might need for every type of stay, long or short, for it’s as comfortable as it is convenient.

The impressive offerings at this type of Gale Hotel Miami room make it perfect as one where bachelorette parties, celebrations with friends and family, as well as group trips, can thrive and enjoy an elegant stay. Those who stay can keep snacks and drinks inside the fridge and will also having the chance to dine inside the room and enjoy a celebratory toast before hitting the town.

Now, let’s discuss location. The hotel and residences are next to Downtown Miami’s Metromover mode of transport that takes you all around the Downtown and Brickell areas. It’s also situated close to South Florida’s Brightline train, I-95 and is easy to navigate through rideshare and taxis, making every ride affordable and quick.

Also, Miami’s dining and entertainment destination Bayside is a walk away, as well as the Kaseya Center, a popular arena where Miami’s basketball team the Miami Heat play, and one that is also known for bringing exciting shows and top concerts to the city.

Our visit to Gale Miami Hotel & Residences left us impressed and craving more. We were lucky to tour the property and had a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at what’s in store. From top-notch restaurants to a Cafecito walk-up window, an outdoor taco truck perfect to enjoy a snack after a late night, to an upcoming speakeasy and other lounge areas, we promise you that you will be tempted to stay and spend a whole day and evening during your stay.

While there, we had a chance to enjoy Breakfast at Gale Miami Hotel, a delicious buffet on the hotel’s 9th Floor. Not only is the buffet well-stocked with options such as bagels, charcuterie, granola, cereal and breakfast favorites such as pancakes, but there are also a la carte options for those looking for a different meal. Oh, and don’t leave without a freshly brewed cup of coffee and a refreshing glass of orange juice, grapefruit juice, and other juices that will surely make you happy you went for breakfast as well as food and cocktails from the Gale Swim Club. This is the hotel’s pool area, a relaxing rooftop one where you can dive in and take in the downtown views. The food has everything from comfort food such as chicken tenders and burgers, to an amazing steak accompanied by fries and chimichurri. Oh, and make sure to have the bartender offer you what he feels is best to go with your meal. They’ll be more than happy to and know exactly what’s best!

Lastly, you cannot leave without taking care of yourself. From a broad gym featuring high-end workout machines, to daily classes, as well as a spa, this is the place to take care of yourself and pamper yourself.

Thanks to these offerings, my guest and I were able to enjoy a refreshing and relaxing facial and massage at The Spa and the Gym to Gale Wellness. When I tell you this was one of the most Zen experiences that I’ve had a in a long time, it’s because the location offers caring and knowledgeable therapists that make you feel comfortable from the start of your service to the end of it.

Not only is it a wonderful and relaxing journey, but those who visit the spa will obtain access to the steam room, sauna and Hammam. It’s an all-around visit that you’ll be thankful for and never forget.

We cannot wait to see what else is in store for Gale Miami Hotel & Residences. A beautiful and relaxing haven, we are already looking forward to our next visit once the upcoming experiences are set to open.

But make sure to visit now and take in the relaxation, impeccable service and laid-back experience in the middle of Downtown Miami. You will not regret it and will also be in a hurry to plan your next visit as well.

His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.
