Arte by Antonio Citterio
Arte by Antonio Citterio is a 12-story residential development in Miami Beach’s Surfside neighborhood. The project is the Italian architect’s first in the United States and joins his international portfolio, which includes Bvlgari Hotels in Dubai, London, Milan and Bali, and the Mandarin Oriental in Milan. Citterio also collaborated with Miami’s Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design. Arte’s façade is articulated with broad expanses of sliding glass doors, a gridded bronze Schuco window system and Roman travertine marble. The property’s lush landscaping is designed by Enzo Enea, one of the world’s leading landscape architecture firms. An $11.65 million, 4,302-square-foot, three-bedroom model home is furnished by Hallock Design. Principal Wade Hallock used some of Citterio’s materials, but also brought Brazilian design elements to create a Latin American-meets-Italian motif. He used a neutral color palette full of warm champagne tones to frame the natural beauty of the apartment’s sweeping ocean views and embraced the 2,300-square-foot terrace with a cozy lounge space.
