The City of Hallandale Beach Community Redevelopment Agency is hosting the South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) Hallandale Beach Event Series on Friday, Feb. 23, and Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024. It’s a much-anticipated event that showcases the city’s diverse food scene, culture, and art. The Celebrity Chef Dinner from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Feb. 23 at KAO Bar & Grill is the perfect way to kick off the weekend. It features celebrity chefs Chris Valdes and Georgina Sulle, who will bring a unique blend of Caribbean and Argentine flavors for a one-of-a-kind dinner experience. The restaurant is a two-story, unique concept of a shipping container restaurant hand-painted by artist Falopapas. The tickets for the dinner are $225 per person, and you must be 21 or older to attend. The Food & Groove: A Wine, Food, and Art Experience from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24 at Pegasus Park at Gulfstream Village is a Festival of Lights-themed event that will highlight local art, music, interactive entertainment, and local restaurants. Celebrated chefs will showcase creative international cuisines inspired by Turkey, Spain, and Italy. The event will also have Kosher and vegan options.
