South Florida is a hotbed for the success of Hispanic-owned businesses. From the giant publicly-owned, Hispanic-led companies like MasTec and Perry Ellis to the bricks and mortar of Supermix Concrete—a family run provider of cement and building materials for the construction industry.
This diverse group of businesses encompass South Florida Business & Wealth’s inaugural list, honoring Latino-owned or led companies, is ranked by 2017 revenue.
According to a Geoscape report generated for the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2017, Florida, California and Texas had the highest net increase of Hispanic-owned businesses from 2012 to 2016.
Some of those that contributed to the increase may be seen on future lists of Top Hispanic Businesses. Based on the data provided for this list compilation, there are companies that did not make our list with outstanding revenue and growth that will eventually place them on the list in the future.
