L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Remains Miami’s Only 2 Michelin-Star Restaurant

The restaurant has retained is Michelin star since it was included in the inaugural class of 14.

Hot off the heels of last Thursday’s Michelin Guide announcement, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon remains the only restaurant in Miami to have been awarded two Michelin stars, while its sister concept Le Jardinier celebrates four consecutive years with one star, cementing their spots at the top of South Florida’s culinary scene. Le Jardinier has retained is Michelin star since it was included in the inaugural class of 14, which now includes 29 restaurants in the state of Florida with the one Michelin Star distinction, including the first ever awarded in Fort Lauderdale, which went to the Chef’s Counter at MAASS at the Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale.

In total, 31 restaurants were awarded Stars by the anonymous inspectors with Sorekara in Orlando being the newest Two Michelin-Starred establishment. This year’s selection also welcomed two new Green Stars in Miami with EntreNos, for its locally sourced produce and land-based protein, sustainably sourced seafood and dinnerware crafted by Miami-based artisans, and Stubborn Seed being recognized for using ingredients sourced from Chef Jeremy Ford’s 5.5-acre farm, its composting program that repurposes food waste to be collected and used at the farm, and initiatives with Compost for Life, a community compost program in the Miami Beach area.

The Michelin Guide Inspectors gave 36 Florida restaurants the Bib Gourmand distinction, which recognizes eateries for great food at a great value.
