The Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation hired Joseph E. Hovancak (pictured) as its new Deputy Executive Director. Hovancak will bring more than 15 years of experience in strategic development and community engagement to the economic and education center. He recently managed the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance’s Prosperity Partnership initiative and offers experience in business development, investor relations, fundraising, community partnerships and board engagement.
The Levan Center of Innovation is a public-private partnership between Nova Southeastern University and Broward County to serve as an economic and education development engine for South Florida focused on its three themes of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.
