Lifestyle Media Group Snags 10 Charlie Awards Slots From the Florida Magazine Association

Three monthly magazines published by Lifestyle Media Group have been recognized in nine categories as Charlie Award finalists—for a total of 10 awards—by the Florida Magazine Association. Each magazine will be honored with either a first (Charlie), second (silver), or third (bronze) prize for each citation.

South Florida Business & Wealth (sfbwmag.com) nabbed five finalist spots, including in the top categories of Best Overall Design, Best Overall Writing and Best Magazine Website. SFBW also was recognized in the Best Design/Feature and the Best Design/Department categories.

Tampa Bay Business & Wealth (tbbwmag.com), which also earned a finalist slot in the Best Design/Department category, was cited for Best Photography/Single Department Image.

Finally, Las Olas Lifestyle (lmgfl.com) scored three finalist positions: Best Design/Use of Photography, Best Photography/Single Feature Image, and Best Writing/Department.

“After sitting out last year’s Charlie Awards, Lifestyle Media Group has come back with a roar,” said LMG Chairman Gary Press. “Our magazines, which have never looked or read better, have had an amazing year, and this is a fine tribute to our stellar editorial and design departments, as well as to our talented contributing photographers. This shows that our powerful print and digital content—as well as our robust events schedule—continue to lead the conversation across the state.”

LMG publishes South Florida Business & Wealth, Tampa Bay Business & Wealth and a suite of seven Lifestyle publications: Las Olas Lifestyle, InWeston Lifestyle, West Broward Lifestyle (serving Plantation, Davie, Pembroke Pines and West Miramar), Parkland/Coral Springs Lifestyle (also serving Coconut Creek), Boca Raton/Delray Beach Lifestyle, Doral Lifestyle (also serving Pinecrest and Coral Gables) and Aventura Lifestyle (also serving Hallandale Beach and Sunny Isles). LMG also publishes the annual directory South Florida Legal Guide.

The Charlie Awards, sponsored annually by the Florida Magazine Association, will be held during the Florida Media Conference at Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in August.
