Miller Construction Finishes Building BMW Dealership in Pembroke Pines

The state-of-the-art showroom aims to enhance the customer’s experience.

The new two-story showroom for Holman Automotive’s BMW of Pembroke Pines has been completed and delivered by Miller Construction Company. The construction of the new building was built with the client’s needs in mind and the ultimate goal of attracting new customers to the Holman showroom at 14800 Sheridan St. in Pembroke Pines. It covers 37,350 square feet and features stunning office spaces, break rooms, and finishes. The floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the building showcase the vehicles, making it an unmissable structure. The project also included 113 parking spaces and renovations to the service drive and sidewalks around the perimeter of the showroom, which were completed in November.

“We are ecstatic and humbled to be able to build this beautiful showroom for Holman Automotive as their builder of choice,” Brian Sudduth says, president of Miller Construction, a statewide, privately-held construction firm. “We pride ourselves on our expertise in automotive construction, and we continue to see new development opportunities in this growing industry across the state.”

During the construction period, Miller’s team built a temporary complex to ensure that the dealership’s employees could continue operating without any significant disruptions to the business. The temporary complex comprised four triple-wide trailers facilitating the operations and a 210′ x 50′ canopy with lighting that acted as a showroom in front of the six-story Inventory Garage and Collision Center. Miller built the Inventory Garage and Collision Center in 2020. The project team that oversaw the construction of the temporary complex included FSMY Architects and Planners, CES Consulting Engineering Services (MEP Engineer), Bryntesen Structural Engineers, and Winningham & Fradley (Civil).

His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands.
