Pony Up: The Villa Collection to Sponsor Charity Polo Match

The Villa Collection at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach, will serve as the title real estate sponsor for the World Polo League Beach Polo from April 23rd to April 25th on Miami Beach. Some of the world’s most premiere polo players will be on-hand for the six chukker match, including Nacho Figueras, Nic Roldan, Melissa Ganzi, Alejandro Novillo Astrada, Juan Bollini Jr., Juan Martín Nero, and Barto & Jeta Castagnola, Grant Ganzi and Tito Gaudenzi.

The matches will benefit Give Back for Special Equestrians, a nonprofit organization based in Miami that provides special needs children and veterans with disabilities with therapeutic horseback rides and scholarships.

“It gives us great pleasure to welcome back World Polo League Beach Polo, Miami Beach and the sport of kings to Miami Beach. The city enjoys a rich storied past dating back to the 1930’s when Carl Fisher played with other Miami Beach residents like Harvey Firestone and Alfred duPont on the grounds of the Nautilus Hotel just steps from the new villas,” says Andy Ashwal, vice president of GFI Development Company. “We are pleased to continue the tradition and incorporate our corporate philanthropic culture by helping some very special equestrians in the process.”

Consisting of 15 luxurious single-family homes, the Villa Collection at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach feature interior and exterior designs by Piero Lissoni. Starting at $4.37 million, the villas feature 3-to 5- bedroom floor plans, including private terraces, infinity pools and unobstructed views of Miami’s skyline and beachfront in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the area.
