Savage X Fenty Opens First Florida Store at Miami Worldcenter

Rihanna owns the brand.

Downtown Miami’s Miami Worldcenter has proudly opened the first Miami store of Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty, the globally recognized lingerie and apparel brand celebrated for its commitment to inclusivity, confidence and fearlessness. The new store, which held its grand opening last month, introduces Savage X Fenty’s innovative approach to embracing individuality within the Miami community. Shoppers can expect various affordable options, including lingerie, loungewear, sleepwear, and sportswear. With sizes ranging from XS to 4X, every customer is sure to find pieces that reflect their style and fit their body perfectly.

“We are thrilled to open our first store in Miami as we continue expanding Savage X Fenty’s retail presence,” says Vanessa Wallace, Chief Marketing Officer of Savage X Fenty. “Our goal is to give customers the opportunity to shop and experience the brand on their own terms. With this new store, we aim to offer Miamians additional ways to connect with the brand and explore products firsthand.”

The Miami store will be the sixth Savage X Fenty location to showcase the brand’s new design concept. By the end of 2024, Savage X Fenty plans to have 14 stores throughout the U.S.

Miami Worldcenter is an ambitious new project costing $6 billion, situated in the vibrant heart of Downtown Miami. The mixed-use destination spans ten blocks and includes residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces, with 300,000 square feet designated for retail, dining, and entertainment. Currently being developed in phases, this initiative is spearheaded by Miami Worldcenter Associates, with Managing Partners Art Falcone and Nitin Motwani at the helm, collaborating with CIM Group.

“We are excited to welcome Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty brand to Miami Worldcenter,” says Nitin Motwani, Managing Partner of Miami Worldcenter Associates. “As a vibrant hub of innovation and culture in Downtown Miami, this exciting addition not only enhances our retail landscape but also aligns perfectly with our vision of creating a dynamic destination where fashion, art, and community come together.”

Savage X Fenty’s new Miami store will be at 851 NE 1st Ave., Unit D-138, in Downtown Miami.

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico. His other clients have included Four Seasons, Acqualina Resort & Residences, Yahoo!, American Airlines, Wynn, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran. As an adjunct assistant professor, Limsky has taught journalism, film and creative writing at the City University of New York, Pace University, American University and other colleges.
