At the yearly Chefs Helping the Homeless event on Sept 28 at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club, 415 E. Country Club Circle, the culinary community of Broward County will unite in a display of solidarity, contributing their skills for a memorable dining experience. Sponsored by Lauderdale BMW of Pembroke Pines, the evening aims to gather the community and generate funds for Broward Partnership, a nonprofit organization devoted to supporting individuals facing homelessness by providing advocacy, housing and comprehensive services. Since its establishment in 2007, Chefs Helping the Homeless has delighted diners with outstanding cuisine while backing Broward Partnership’s efforts to address homelessness.
“This event showcases the compassion and generosity of our culinary community here in Broward,” says Tom Campbell, CEO of Broward Partnership. “Their dedication to making a difference is truly inspiring.”
During a pre-dinner cocktail party at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club, each table host will randomly select a number to provide to their assigned chauffeurs. The chauffeurs, who are aware of the restaurant destinations, will transport guests in luxurious limousines to surprise locations at one of the area’s premier dining establishments. The event will showcase renowned South Florida restaurants such as Casa D’Angelo in Fort Lauderdale and Eddie V’s Prime Seafood on Las Olas, and more establishments are expected to join soon. Along with savoring expertly crafted cuisine and expertly paired wines, guests will have the opportunity to receive a tableside visit from the Executive Chef.
Jeremiah Gutierrez is chair of this year’s host committee, which also includes prominent members Craig Tanner, Emily Stark, Katie Masucci, Lois Marino, Joanne Snead, Julie Barnett, and Chef Nicole Fey.
Sponsorships for this exclusive event are now available, each including a table for eight guests. Individual tickets will also be sold based on availability. For more information about sponsorship opportunities, ticket purchases, and event registration, please visit here or contact Lshim@BPHI.org.
