Last month, The Palm Beaches hosted its largest cryptocurrency-focused conference at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The event brought a diverse mix of builders, developers, artists, gamers and investors to the area, with over 7,000 national and international attendees staying at 20 hotels throughout Palm Beach County.
Blockworks presented the inaugural Permissionless conference and expo in partnership with Bankless and Coinbase. Blockworks, an NYC financial media brand, planned a complete takeover of downtown West Palm Beach for three days and bought out several sites, including the National Croquet Center, Grandview Market and Clematis by Night. The convention allowed The Palm Beaches to interact with leading organizations in the emerging industry to further explore the industry’s impact as an economic driver for the community. The conference was estimated to create over $4 million in economic impact for the local community.
