Today’s Number: $18.4 million

Casino magnate Steve Wynn picked up his second Palm Beach property, the newest one a lakeside mansion built on spec by Palm Beach residents Eduard and Missy de Guardiola at 235 Via Vizcaya. The sale price for the 7,272-square-foot Mediterranean-style spread, designed by Patrick Segraves of SKA Architect + Planner of Palm Beach, was reported as $18.4 million. The hefty price tag, however, is but a fraction of the cost of the South Ocean Boulevard estate Wynn purchased for $43 million in 2019.
