Two Condo Penthouses in Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach Close for Record Amount

Two condo penthouses at Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach recently closed for a combined record of $27 million. Coldwell Banker Realty’s Michele Redlich, lead agent for the Michele Redlich Group, represented the buyer of the only two condo penthouses at Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach. Located in Fontainebleau II, it is the tallest of the resort’s buildings at 37 stories.

Four buildings comprise the oceanfront Fontainebleau Resort, with two strictly hotels and the Fontainebleau II and III condo buildings. The Fontainebleau Resort is located in Millionaires Row, north of South Beach, south of Bal Harbour, and east of the Design District and downtown Miami. After appearing in numerous movies, television shows, music lyrics, and nationally televised sporting events, it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Redlich, a veteran agent who has been selling real estate for 27 years, specializes in condos such as Fontainebleau II and III and nearby buildings. She has sold 481 resale apartments at Fontainebleau II and Fontainebleau III. The Fontainebleau II building comprises 462 units, 50% studios and 50% one-bedroom apartments.

The buyer of the two penthouses has yet to make plans to combine the two units. The terraces of the two units are accessible to walk through from one to the other, thus connecting the penthouses from the exterior. The combined areas of the two units represent 9,000 square feet with two rooftop pools, 10 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms and two and a half baths. The penthouses offer 360-degree unobstructed views of the ocean.
