Vision Board: Tara Bernerd

Though born and raised in London, interior designer Tara Bernerd is a true global citizen, equally at home in European and Asian cities, or in South Florida, where she created the interiors for the game-changing Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale, which counts as her first commission for the hospitality brand. The project, which set a new luxury bar for the city, is inflected with Bernerd’s love of midcentury furnishings, inspired by browsing the revered Phillips London auction house.

When she travels, summers are for Portofino: “It’s all about a certain attitude, the colors, the quality of the light, the layered design and the consistent attention to every detail,” Bernerd says. “Despite this familiarity, each time I am there I find new inspiration.” And her signature look is dressing up or down with her self-curated selection of bracelets, beads and watches.
