Infinite Reality Makes a Mega Move—Fort Lauderdale Goes Full Tech Mode

Infinite Reality Plots a 60-Acre Power Play in Fort Lauderdale

The metaverse might be cooling off in Silicon Valley—but in Fort Lauderdale, it’s just heating up.

This month, Infinite Reality, one of the leading players in immersive media, content production, and extended reality (XR) development, announced its boldest expansion yet: a 60-acre global headquarters and innovation campus to be built in the heart of Broward County. It’s not just a new office—it’s an ecosystem in the making.

The new campus will house sound stages, XR labs, esports arenas, green screen studios, virtual event spaces, and creative incubators—all designed to attract filmmakers, technologists, producers, and brand storytellers working at the intersection of content and code. If all goes as planned, the facility will create more than 1,000 jobs, spanning everything from software engineering and camera ops to creative direction and experiential design.

Infinite Reality’s move is no accident. Fort Lauderdale sits at the crossroads of international creativity and American ambition. Its talent pool includes digital media graduates from Florida Atlantic, FIU, and Nova Southeastern. It’s within reach of global brands, top influencers, and a booming Latin American market. And thanks to infrastructure investments and economic incentives, Broward is finally being seen as a serious alternative to Atlanta, Austin, or L.A.

“We’re not just building a headquarters,” said an executive at Infinite Reality. “We’re building a new model for how content will be produced, experienced, and monetized across digital and physical platforms.”

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, which helped broker the deal, views this as a transformative win. Over the past five years, the region has seen steady growth in tech, but few announcements as big, bold, or cinematic as this. The project is expected to anchor Broward’s emerging “innovation corridor,” drawing adjacent investment in housing, education, retail, and AI R&D.

And while much of the early metaverse hype has given way to market correction, Infinite Reality is betting on something bigger: a future where immersive content isn’t a gimmick—it’s the new language of storytelling, commerce, and connection.

For Fort Lauderdale, it’s a chance to redefine itself—not just as a city of beaches and boats, but as a content capital of the future. If Infinite Reality delivers on its vision, this won’t just be a place where media is consumed. It’ll be where new realities are created.
