W Aviation FBO Opens New Terminal at FXE

The company aims to redefines private aviation in the area.

W Aviation FBO celebrated the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art terminal at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE), setting a new standard for luxury, technology and convenience in the local aviation industry. With 20,000 square feet of top-notch facilities, innovative services and competitive fuel prices in South Florida, this event signifies a significant milestone for the area’s aviation sector.

“Our new terminal is a testament to our dedication to excellence and innovation in the aviation industry,” Barbara Martinez says, Marketing Director at W Aviation. “As we continue to grow, we remain committed to providing our clients with an experience that combines sophistication, affordability, and impeccable attention to detail.”

Since its founding in 2015, W Aviation has been dedicated to providing a premier experience for private and corporate clients, evidenced by a total investment exceeding $24 million into Fort Lauderdale’s Executive Airport. After completing two state-of-the-art 20,000-square-foot hangars in 2020, the new fixed-base operator (FBO) terminal has become the largest and most luxurious in South Florida, offering a haven of elegance and unmatched comfort for travelers, pilots, and aviation professionals. With an additional investment of over $4.5 million, the terminal sets a new standard in general aviation.

“Our vision is to exceed expectations and provide an amazing experience for every guest,” says Hugo Cortes, General Manager at W Aviation. “With this new terminal, we are setting a new standard for elegance, convenience, and customer care in South Florida’s aviation industry.”

W Aviation’s terminal showcases an exceptional blend of design and innovation, providing various exclusive features that position it as a premier option for clients. Notable highlights include:

  • Private lounges are available while waiting for flights or any private reunions.
  • Modern Conference Rooms are available for meetings for parties of 25 people.
  • Pilot Lounge features blackout screens for uninterrupted rest and massage chairs for ultimate comfort.
  • Fitness Center to maintain wellness with fully equipped facilities.
  • Overnight Suite to enjoy comfort and privacy for restful stays.
  • Arcade includes arcade machines, a ping pong table, an F1 simulator and more.
  • Duty-Free Shop offers premium alcohol and fragrances.

W Aviation is planning to enhance its facilities by adding two acres to our current ramp and constructing two new, state-of-the-art hangars, each approximately 18,000 square feet. These hangars will be equipped with cutting-edge technology to offer improved convenience and security for aircraft storage.

W Aviation provides round-the-clock support and tailored services to meet each client’s specific needs. Its offerings range from ground handling and concierge assistance to detailed flight planning, and a bilingual team ensures that every part of the travel experience is smooth and enjoyable.
