Not sure about you, but I am happy to celebrate the arrival of fall and eventually cooler weather. I made a couple of escapes over the summer to visit family in Illinois and vacation in Medellin, Colombia. Both had beautiful spring-like weather.
When you step back out of the terminal upon arrival at one of South Florida’s airports in summer, it’s like entering a steamy jungle. It’s time to get excited about the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which starts Oct. 30 and runs through Nov. 3. Press releases for the show couldn’t be found before deadline, so sign up for our newsletter (SFBWmag.com) and we’ll keep you posted.
Those going to the show at Pier Sixty-Six Resort and Marina should get a pretty good view of the $1 billion in improvements. It will get even better next year when the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center opens nearby.

He also talks about doing something positive after a horrible tragedy in his life.
