The Broward MPO, which manages transportation initiatives in the county, extended its gratitude to previously featured podcast participants by organizing a special event. The gathering commemorated a significant milestone, as History Fort Lauderdale was archiving the series in its esteemed Oral History Library. At the event, esteemed guests were invited to participate in a celebration to mark this achievement and acknowledge all the contributions of all involved. All of the previous 30 podcasts are now available to discover more about the area’s rich transportation history.
By coordinating 31 local governments and municipalities, the MPO facilitates seamless transportation and redevelopment in Broward County. This benefits its 1.9 million residents and over 13 million annual visitors and fosters community growth and prosperity. The MPO works to ensure efficient solutions, sustained mobility and enhanced overall living standards in Broward County.
