Life Time Fitness Chain Planning Coral Springs Location

The 86,750-square-foot health club would be situated on the former Heron Bay golf course if approved.

Minnesota-based Life Time, which already has four locations in South Florida and is set to open one in Boca Raton later this year, is looking to add another to its roster. The portion of the site the company has under contract is within the boundaries of Coral Springs, so although Life Time was granted approval by Parkland officials to go forward, it will be Coral Springs city officials who will make the final decision. In November 2024, it was reported that Coral Springs city commissioners approved the land transfer, according to city records, as part of Parkland’s plan to develop commercial and residential projects in the area.

Life Time’s plan ice to build a two-story, 86,750-square-foot health club with 593 parking spaces. The brand is known to offer pools, spas, cafes, coworking spaces and daycare at its other locations. Between the U.S. and Canada, Life Time has more than a million members.
