JLL Hires Grant Killingsworth

JLL has hired veteran commercial real estate broker Grant Killingsworth as senior managing director in South Florida, bringing him back to the firm where he previously spent nearly a decade.

Killingsworth has more than 25 years of experience representing office and industrial occupiers throughout South Florida and advising companies on their real estate portfolios across the U.S. He most recently served as senior vice president in CBRE’s Occupier Services Group.

In his new role, Killingsworth will join JLL’s South Florida office brokerage team, advising companies on leasing and broader real estate strategies throughout the region and nationally.

“South Florida continues to be one of the U.S.’s most dynamic markets, driven by sustained business growth, corporate relocations and increasing demand for high-quality workplace environments,” said Dan McGowan, executive managing director and South Florida broker lead at JLL.

During his previous tenure with JLL, Killingsworth helped lease more than 3 million square feet of Class A office space. His assignments included prominent Brickell properties such as Espirito Santo Plaza and 1221 Brickell.

Over his career, Killingsworth has worked with local, regional and multinational corporations as well as nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. He has also worked for institutional property owners, giving him experience in lease underwriting and multiple stages of office development, including design, financial underwriting, construction and lease-up.

His hiring is the latest addition to JLL’s growing South Florida brokerage operation. The firm recently hired Andrew Frey, the former head of real estate for the City of Miami, as a managing director.

Killingsworth has received industry recognition from the South Florida Business Journal, Florida Trend and CoStar. He earned a bachelor’s degree in real estate from Florida State University.
