Forbes Names Holy Cross Health One of Florida’s Top 100 Employers

Holy Cross Health has been named to Forbes America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals 2026 list for the second consecutive year and recognized on Forbes America’s Best Employers by State list as one of Florida’s top 100 employers. Both recognitions are based on employee feedback regarding workplace conditions, compensation, career advancement opportunities, workplace safety, and willingness to recommend their employer.

These recognitions come as Holy Cross Health continues to invest in its workforce, recruit expert physicians and specialists, expand Holy Cross Medical Group and create opportunities for career growth across the organization. Those investments include the opening of Holy Cross Health Center & Emergency Care — Deerfield Beach and the planned opening of Holy Cross Health Center & Emergency Care – Fort Lauderdale at Sunrise in August 2027. The organization’s commitment to professional growth is reflected in the many physicians who begin their careers at Holy Cross and choose to build long-term careers within the organization.

For the 2026 ranking, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to survey more than 30,000 employees working for health care and social services organizations with at least 1,000 employees in the United States. Participants evaluated their employers on factors including compensation, working conditions, career advancement opportunities and workplace safety. The 250 highest-scoring organizations were included on the list.

“What makes these recognitions so meaningful is that they are based on feedback from employees and healthcare professionals themselves,” said Rachel M. Thompson, Chief Human Resources Officer of Holy Cross Health. “They reflect our ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where colleagues feel supported, valued and empowered to grow. Our people are our greatest strength, and we remain focused on fostering an environment where they can thrive professionally and personally while delivering exceptional care to our community.”
