With plenty of businesses leaving New York and other states for Florida’s sunshine and tax environment, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance is helping relocating business owners as much as they can. The organization recently announced the debut of Welcome Home, a relocation and recruitment guide for businesses. The 36-page tool, the organization said in a release, is part of its strategy to attract talent to the area, as “talent migration and desirability of location are key to business growth.”
“More and more individuals are leaving high-tax, high regulation, densely populated areas, seeking a better quality of life—a trend we’ve seen accelerated by the pandemic,” said Bob Swindell, President & CEO of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance. “In an increasingly ‘work from anywhere’ climate, Greater Fort Lauderdale is an ideal place for talent to relocate for amazing lifestyle assets, from our beautiful waterborne lifestyle to our great neighborhoods, top employers and world-class cultural offerings.”
As a companion to the Live Where You Vacation campaign, the guide places Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County’s as an ideal place to not only visit but live and work in by showcasing the area’s nightlife, festivals, places to eat, green spaces, the arts, education, neighborhood spotlights.
