Stephanie Flores began her career in construction after graduating from the University of Florida’s Rinker School of Construction with a bachelor’s degree in construction management. She then returned to South Florida and joined ANF Group in 2011 as a project engineer, then worked as an assistant project manager. Today, she is a project manager working on various healthcare and commercial projects. In addition, Flores is a strong supporter and advocate of women entering the construction profession. She actively participates in community and trade events and is a big proponent of giving back to her community.
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT THIS YEAR?
Completing a 100,000 square foot interior renovation for HCA Integrated Regional Laboratories, which will provide surrounding hospitals, physicians and clients with timely diagnostics for patient care in a state-of-the-art facility.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN FIVE YEARS PROFESSIONALLY?
In five years, I see myself continuing to grow and learn in the construction industry. I would like to use my experience and knowledge to assist my company’s growth and success, as well as encourage newer employees to do the same.
