Motorcar Cavalcade Returns

The luxury showcase for exotic and rare automobiles is back at Turnberry

After wowing discerning auto enthusiasts last year with its sophisticated and entertaining spin on the VIP car show, the highly anticipated Motorcar Cavalcade returns to South Florida for another exclusive showcase (Jan. 14-15).

Once again, JW Marriott Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura will roll out the red carpet for connoisseurs and admirers of vintage, rare, exotic and over-the-top luxury vehicles. The Cavalcade—which partners with Warren Henry Auto Group as well as the American Cancer Society—kicks off Saturday with a Speed & Style Rally, a driving/sightseeing tour through Miami for participants (with special stops along the way) that concludes with a stylish party at Bentley Residences in Sunny Isles Beach.

The Sunday Concours d’Elegance, meanwhile, is the only one of its kind to offer competition between vintage classics and modern vehicles based on attributes that are shared across a historical lineage. The Cavalcade also breaks with tradition by inviting VIP judges from all walks of life to assess the jaw-dropping vehicles. Winners in their respective classes will be eligible for one of two Modern or Classic Era “Best in Show” honors. Part of Turnberry’s championship golf course serves as a backdrop for the lavish affair, which also features culinary and mixology pavilions.

“The Cavalcade is shaping up to be bigger and better than we could have imagined,” says Jason Wenig, co-executive director of the event. “We can’t wait to share this luxury, VIP automotive garden party with the world.”

Limited ticketing ($575 per person) is available to the general public for the all-day Concours.
