Apa Aesthetic Opens in Miami

The 4,500-square-foot space is situated in the heart of downtown Miami.

After acquiring the space and investing eight months in a custom buildout, Apa Aesthetic opened its new dentistry office in Miami, making it the fourth location for Dr. Michael Apa, who operates offices in New York, Dubai, and Los Angeles. The state-of-the-art lab supports seven operatories. Dr. Apa’s line of oral care cosmetics, Apa Beauty, and Meet the Masters, a first-of-its-kind hardcover book that offers an exclusive look at the master craftsmen behind the smiles, are on display.

“We perfected an experience that elevates dentistry from need-based to want-based, and now it’s time to bring that experience to Miami, Florida,” Dr. Michael Apa says, Founder of Apa Aesthetic. “We promise something different to anyone who cares about their teeth, and everyone should care about their teeth.”

The new dental office was designed by the renowned Kenneth Park Architects, known for their creative work on “Apa on Six” and other high-end projects for brands like Bucherer, Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, and many more. The space boasts a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere, with a thoughtfully planned layout that creates an aesthetic experience far beyond top-notch dentistry.

The space of Apa Aesthetic’s new dentistry office in Miami is entirely bespoke and accented in lush Italian leather. It features soaring twelve-foot ceilings, Apa’s signature Terrazzo flooring, and impressive millwork. The office at 300 S Biscayne Blvd. offers amenities such as Brunello Cucinelli cashmere blankets, Dr. Barbara Sturm skincare, a smart TV, CBD confections, and Beats noise-canceling headphones, which promise parents an experience that rivals the care.

With Dr. Michael Apa leading the way, the office is supported by a team of elite dentists and technicians, including Dr. Oscar Sanchez, Dr. Vince Avallone, and Master Ceramist Murilo Calgaro, who were handpicked to deliver the best in aesthetic dentistry to parents, new and old. Apa Aesthetic invites parents to relax, sit back, and enjoy the dental experience they want and never need.

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico.
