Brickell’s Lofty Ambitions

Brickell continues its development tear with Lofty, a 44-story condominium tower that is experiencing an impressive sales launch, with 80 percent of the tower’s inventory under contract. The project, developed by Newgard Development Group, recently received a $170 million loan from 3650 Reit for an additional tower, with groundbreaking set to commence in the fourth quarter of 2022. Lofty will feature an exotic resort pool, 24-hour valet services, boat docking, a fitness center and 40,000 square feet of thoughtfully curated amenities, including a speakeasy-style lounge. Boasting a total of 320 residences, including studios and one and two-bedroom units, Lofty is perfectly situated on the Brickell riverfront, steps from Brickell City Center. Designed by Arquitectonica, the tower will feature landscaping by Urban Robot Associates and interiors by New York-based firm Inc. Additionally, the Lofty lays claim to what it calls the first-ever NFT art collection, which launched with renowned Miami-based artist Carlos Betancourt, designed for condo owners, integrating digital art into the DNA of the new residential building, while transferring ownership of a custom NFT to each unit owner.
